DR. MARGARET WHIPPLE DOOSE
Co-Manager of General Partner

Margaret Whipple Doose serves as Co-Manager of the managing General Partner, HCP Management, LLC. She also serves as a trustee of the Ross Foundation. She received her B.A. in Political Science from Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina, her Medical Doctorate from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota.  Margaret also completed her residency in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota. She currently works as a hospitalist at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, as well as serving as a physician in the Hospital@Home Program, helping manage acutely ill patients in their homes. Dr. Doose is board certified in Internal Medicine, General Pediatrics, as well as Pediatric Hospital Medicine. As physician advisor for HealthPartners and HealthPartners Direct, she guides utilization management for eight hospitals and supports strategic patient transfers throughout the network.  She also serves as Vice-Chair of Hospital Medicine helping lead a team of more than 100 clinicians.
