
EMILY WHIPPLE NADEAU, J.D.

Emily Whipple Nadeau serves as General Counsel of Horizon Capital Partners and Co-Manager of its managing general partner, HCP Management, LLC, where she focuses on legal and operational issues related to managing land and timber and other long-term capital investments. Prior to joining Horizon Capital Partners, Emily practiced law in the estate planning and taxation group at Lax, Vaughan, Fortson, Rowe & Threet, P.A. in Little Rock.
Emily is a graduate of Washington and Lee University, cum laude. She earned her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where she was elected to Order of the Coif, and her LL.M. in Taxation from New York University. Prior to returning to Arkansas, Emily practiced law at Bass, Berry and Sims in Nashville, Tennessee and at Holland and Knight in New York City. She serves on the Board of Trustees of the Ross Foundation in Arkadelphia and the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts in Little Rock. Emily and her husband, Jason, reside in Little Rock with their four children, Ross, Charlotte, James and Mary Adelaide.
